Information from Son La Provincial Police said that on January 7, in Van Ho commune, Son La province, the Economic Police Department of Son La Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with the Traffic Police Department and Market Management Team No. 3 to inspect car BKS 19B-006.97 driven by Dao Trong Quan (born 1991), residing in Van Phu ward, Phu Tho province.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered that the vehicle was transporting 535kg of animal organs of unknown origin. The driver could not present invoices or related documents. The case is being further filed for handling according to regulations.
Previously, on January 6, in the same area of Van Ho commune, functional forces inspected car BKS 34C-380.35 driven by Nguyen Hong Ha (born 1987), residing in Thanh Mien commune, Hai Phong city, and discovered 200kg of food and foodstuffs of unknown origin, worth about 4.4 million VND.
These goods have been administratively sanctioned and destroyed according to regulations.
