On September 14, information from Tra Giap commune, Da Nang, the Military Command of the commune just coordinated with the Team for surveying, searching, and repatriating martyrs' remains under the Military Command of Da Nang City to repatriate another martyr's grave in the old forest in hamlet 3.
Previously, through propaganda, information gathering from people and field surveys, functional forces identified 2 locations suspected of being martyrs' graves in this area.
From the accounts of Mr. Tran Ngoc Lien (born in 1947) and Mr. Tran Minh Truc (born in 1981, both residing in the locality), on September 13, the search force conducted an survey and repatriated a martyr's grave that has not been identified.
At this location, functional forces discovered some artifacts including nylon tanks, 2 buttons, 2 AK bullet casings and some rotten pieces of clothing.
This is the second martyr's grave found and repatriated in Tra Giap commune in just 5 days.

Previously, on September 9, from information provided by Mr. Pham Van Tuan, a local resident, functional forces identified a grave location in the former Ngheo commune area, now belonging to hamlet 1, Tra Giap commune.
During the excavation process, functional forces gathered a martyr's grave whose identity has not been identified. Many artifacts were found, notably nylon sheets, belts, pen tips, US-killing hero badges, tweezers, buttons, teeth and some pieces of rotten clothes.


The two search and repatriation phases were carried out according to the plan of the Military Command of Da Nang City, with the coordination of the Military Command of Tra Giap commune and local forces.
Continuing to collect information from the people, surveying areas suspected of having martyrs' graves is expected to contribute more clues to search, repatriate and identify martyrs remaining in the area.
