On the morning of December 11, the authorities in Phu Quy Special Zone (Lam Dong province) received a report of a person found dead on a boat drifting freely at sea.
On the same morning, a fisherman fishing in the Phu Quy sea discovered a small boat drifting freely. The location of the discovery was a few nautical miles from Phu Quy Island.
When approaching to check, the fishermen discovered a dead man on the boat.
Immediately after that, the boat was towed to Lang Co wharf (Phu Quy Special Zone). The incident was reported to the authorities and a notice was issued to find relatives for the deceased.
Through identification, the victim was Mr. V.V.H (born in 1967) - a resident of Phu Quy island. Usually, Mr. H. goes fishing on this boat.
The family came to receive the body to prepare for the funeral. Currently, the authorities are carrying out clarification procedures according to regulations.
