On June 1, the leader of the People's Committee of Quat Lam town (Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province) said that a male body had drifted ashore in the town.
Initial information, at around 6:00 a.m. the same day (January 1), people discovered the body of a male teenager wearing a black shirt drifting ashore in Quat Lam town. Immediately afterwards, people reported it to the authorities and posted it on social media to find relatives for the victim.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities and police forces quickly arrived, protected the scene, and conducted an autopsy. Initially, the victim was identified as N.H.Q (born in 2008, residing in Quat Lam town).
The body has been handed over to the family and buried according to local customs. The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
