The body was discovered at around 11am on July 9 on the Saigon River, passing through Bach Dang walking street, Thu Dau Mot ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to initial information, people in Bach Dang walking street discovered the body floating on the Saigon River, so they reported it to the local authorities.
At the scene, the body of a man about 35 years old drifted near the edge of the Saigon River. The victim was wearing Jean pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and had no identification papers on him.
After receiving the report, local police arrived to block off the scene. At 12:00 on the same day, the victim's body was recovered.
The police are determining the victim's identity and investigating this death.
