The fatal incident was discovered in the canal on An Son 10 Street, Phu Hung Hamlet, Thuan An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The deceased victim was identified as D.N.Y (born in 1990, from Can Tho city, currently residing in Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Initial information, at around 11pm on July 7, Mr. D.N.Y brought a homemade fish Inching Set and left his house on An Son 10 Street, Phu Hung Hamlet, Thuan An Ward.
At around 2:00 a.m. on July 8, relatives did not see Mr. Y return. When they ran into the ditch about 50 meters from their house, they saw the victim's sandals and flashlights under the ditch.
People shouted to each other to search and discovered that Mr. D.N.Y had died. He also wore a fish injection bottle.
The incident was then reported to local authorities. As of 11 noon today, Ho Chi Minh City Police are examining the scene and the body to investigate this death.
