On September 23, Ha Huy Tap Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Mobile Forest Protection Team and Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting (Ha Tinh Sub-Department of Forest Protection) and Vu Quang National Park to receive a python individual voluntarily handed over by people.
Previously, at about 4:30 am on the same day, while cleaning the yard of her house, Ms. Pham Thi Giang (resident of residential group 8, Ha Huy Tap ward) discovered a python individual.
Realizing that this is a rare and precious wild animal that needs to be protected, Ms. Giang reported to the local authorities and voluntarily handed over the python individual to functional agencies.
Through inspection, functional forces determined that this is a python individual, scientific name Python molurus, belonging to group IIB, which is an endangered, precious, and rare forest animal.
Functional agencies then complete the procedures for receiving and handing over the python individual according to regulations.
