On August 26, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Xuan Loc Ward People's Committee, Dong Nai City confirmed that during the construction of the project to upgrade and expand DT. 773 road section passing through the ward, the construction force discovered an object suspected of being a bomb located in a rocky area, and reported it to the Military Command of Xuan Loc Ward.
Upon receiving information, the Military Command of Xuan Loc Ward quickly sent forces to the scene, organized zoning, stretched guard ropes and arranged security forces, not allowing people, workers and vehicles to approach the area with objects suspected of being explosives. At the same time, reporting to the engineering force under the Military Command of Dong Nai City to inspect, identify and have a plan to handle according to regulations.
Previously, on July 10, 2026, the Project to Upgrade and Expand DT. 773 road was started, with a total investment in infrastructure of more than 2,500 billion VND.
The project has a length of about 36.6km, passing through communes and wards including: Xuan Hoa, Xuan Loc, Xuan Phu, Xuan Dong, Cam My, Xuan Duong.
The starting point of the project intersects with National Highway 1 (Km1789+196) in Xuan Hoa commune, the ending point is Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ring Road 4 in Xuan Duong commune (Km36+640).
The project creates connectivity, shortens travel time from the above-mentioned localities to Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan Industrial Park; and at the same time meets traffic and transportation needs, reducing the load on National Highway 1...
