At the thematic meeting in mid-November 2024, the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province passed Resolution No. 55 approving the investment policy of the project to build a road from Tuyen Quang city center to My Lam mineral spring tourist area.
The project will build a new route of about 7.6km long, including the main route and branch routes; the total investment is more than 996 billion VND, of which ODA capital is more than 776 billion VND, the rest is counterpart capital.
The project's goal is to help form and develop 3 new urban areas, expand Tuyen Quang City to the West, complete the criteria of a type II urban area towards a smart city and a type I urban area by 2030.
This project is expected to contribute to the synchronous and modern development of infrastructure, meeting the increasing demand for transportation. Maximizing the potential of My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area, contributing to promoting the economic and tourism development of Tuyen Quang province.
Project implementation period is within 4 years from the effective date of the loan agreement.
