On July 13, a delegation of Government leaders led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung visited and worked in An Giang province.
Also receiving and working with the delegation were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of An Giang province Nguyen Tien Hai; Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc; leaders of a number of provincial departments, agencies, and sectors.
During the working program, the working delegation visited and worked with An Giang Vegetable and Food Joint Stock Company (Antesco) in Binh Long Industrial Park, Chau Phu commune; Cuu Long An Giang Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company in My Quy Industrial Cluster, Long Xuyen ward.

According to a report by An Giang Vegetable and Food Joint Stock Company (Antesco), in 2026, the company is estimated to reach 50,700 tons of products, revenue of 2,000 billion VND, export turnover of 70 million USD, profit after tax of 140 billion VND, increasing by 11%, 15% and 9% respectively compared to 2025. Antesco currently has 4 factories located in An Giang and Lam Dong, with a total capacity of 50,000 tons of finished products per year, a linked raw material area of 15,000 hectares, maintaining 1,800 regular workers and creating livelihoods for more than 4,500 farming households through product consumption contracts.
According to a report by Cuu Long An Giang Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company, in the first 6 months of 2026, the company harvested about 12,000 tons of raw pangasius, produced 9,000 tons of frozen pangasius fillets, and exported 10,064 tons of products to 70 countries and territories. Export turnover reached more than 21 million USD, revenue of 942 billion VND. The company currently manages 6 farming areas with a total area of more than 100 hectares, meeting almost 100% of the raw material demand for the processing plant, creating jobs for more than 2,000 workers.

Speaking at a working session with An Giang Vegetable and Food Joint Stock Company, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung requested local leaders to soon resolve legitimate recommendations of businesses. Regarding production linkage, he said that it is still loose and there are no specific procedures. The Department of Agriculture and Environment needs to sit down to have solutions to help businesses link in production, clearly identify what businesses do, what people do, and what the State does.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to pay close attention to production linkages in business, as well as planning raw material areas. He requested businesses to continue to make efforts to invest high technology in production, digitize planting area codes, trace origins, and at the same time ensure environmental protection...
Speaking at a working session with Cuu Long An Giang Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung expressed his impression of the company's achievements, with production and export capacity to 70 countries and territories around the world, contributing to the locality and creating jobs for workers. The Deputy Prime Minister said that within the Government's authority, he will take it upon himself to help and support businesses, especially the pangasius industry, to develop.
