On the morning of November 6, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the Central working delegation inspected the response to storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) at the Quy Nhon Fishing Port boat mooring area (Gia Lai).
After listening to the report of the provincial leaders on the situation of calling for and arranging boats to take shelter from the storm, the Deputy Prime Minister requested sectors and functional forces to focus on calling on all boats operating at sea to quickly leave the danger zone and find safe shelter. At the same time, carefully check aquaculture areas, cages and vehicles that are anchored, absolutely do not let people stay on boats when the storm makes landfall.

On the same morning, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai - Commander of Military Region 5 - directly inspected storm prevention work at Quy Nhon Fishing Port and Hoa Phong Lan Kindergarten - a concentrated evacuation point in Quy Nhon Ward.
At Quy Nhon Fishing Port, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai praised the proactive spirit of the Party Committee, government, and armed forces in implementing response plans. He requested strict implementation of the "4 on-site" motto, grasping the situation, not being passive or surprised.

The Commander of Military Region 5 directed the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard to strengthen inspection, guide and support fishermen to bring boats and aquaculture cages to safe anchorage positions; Absolutely do not let people stay or return to boats when the storm makes landfall.
At Hoa Phong Lan Kindergarten, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai requested units to carefully prepare household items, ensure clean and spacious hygiene for people to feel secure. Meals need to be arranged reasonably and nutritionally throughout the storm shelter period.
