On April 24, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien held a press conference on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 2525 - June 21, 2025).
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien - sent his congratulations and expressed his gratitude to reporters, editors, and journalists from central and local press agencies who have always accompanied, supported and helped the province in the past time and hoped to continue to receive the attention of press agencies in the coming time.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu acknowledged and highly appreciated the active support of press agencies on the ideological and cultural front as a " bridge" between the government and the people, both reflecting social life and opening up resources and spreading good things.
The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien hopes that press agencies will continue to promote their role as media agencies, strongly spreading increasingly rich cultural, sports and tourism activities in the community and social life.
At the meeting, representatives of the province's press agencies and the Central press agencies exchanged and shared experiences in journalism, improving the quality of press propaganda as well as promoting the propaganda role of the Central press in the locality.
On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 8 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the propaganda work of the Ban Flower Festival and the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of Ethnic Groups in Dien Bien province.
