Phu Tho - The province currently has 60 type II and type III urban areas; 15 wards are identified as meeting urban development standards for administrative units in urban areas.

Recently, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 678/QD-UBND on announcing the list of 60 urban areas identified as type II and type III urban areas and the list of 15 wards identified as meeting urban development standards for administrative units in urban areas in the province.

Accordingly, the list of 60 urban areas identified as type II and type III urban areas includes:

Viet Tri, Vinh Yen, Hoa Binh, Phuc Yen, Phu Tho, Luong Son, Lam Thao, Hung Son, Phong Chau, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son, Hung Hoa, Doan Hung, Cam Khe, Yen Lap, Thanh Ba, Ha Hoa, Tan Phu, Tam Son, Lap Thach, Hoa Son, Tam Dao, Dai Dinh, Hop Chau, Hop Hoa, Kim Long, Vinh Tuong.

Tu Trung, Tho Tang, Yen Lac, Tam Hong, Huong Canh, Gia Khanh, Thanh Lang, Dao Duc, Ba Hien, Nguyet Duc, Trung Nguyen, Te Lo, Dong Van, Quat Luu, Thuong Trung, Dai Dong, Tan Tien, Son Dong, Xuan Loi, Van Quan, Ban Gian, Hop Ly, Hop Thinh, Bo, Chi Ne, Ba, Hang Doi, Mai Chau, Man Duc, Da Bac, Vu Ban, Hang Tram, Cao Phong, Phong Phu.
