Ngoc Ha Ward People's Committee said that implementing the Plan of Hanoi City People's Committee on overcoming "bottleneck points" in ensuring food safety, the Ward People's Committee has synchronously implemented many solutions, strengthened management, inspection, and supervision of food safety in the area, especially during the New Year holiday, Binh Ngo Lunar New Year and the 2026 Spring Festival.
From December 15, 2025 to now, the Ward People's Committee has issued 10 plans and 1 decision related to food safety work, focusing on key contents such as: Overcoming food safety bottlenecks; ensuring food safety during holidays and Tet; food safety propaganda; building a network of self-supervision of food safety in the community; inter-sectoral inspection, post-inspection and food safety management at food service establishments, collective kitchens, and people's markets.
At the same time, the Ward People's Committee has consolidated the Steering Committee for Food Safety of Ngoc Ha Ward to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of direction and administration.
Propaganda work is promoted with many diverse and flexible forms. News and articles on ensuring food safety during Tet are regularly posted on the ward's electronic information page, public bulletin boards and information channels such as Zalo, Facebook.
The propaganda content focuses on guiding people to choose safe food with clear origins; not to use poor quality, expired food; comply with hygiene regulations in food production, processing, and business, especially items that are consumed a lot during Tet.
In addition, the ward coordinates with residential groups to directly propagate to business households and food service establishments, contributing to raising awareness of self-discipline in complying with food safety laws.
In inspection and supervision work, the ward has organized inspections of 33 food service and street food business establishments; made administrative violation records for 6 establishments, and advised on issuing sanctioning decisions with a total amount of 45 million VND. Thereby, promptly rectifying violations, contributing to protecting people's health.
In the coming time, Ngoc Ha Ward People's Committee will continue to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to promote propaganda and supervision of food origin at food service providers; strengthen inter-sectoral inspections of food safety during Tet and Spring Festival 2026, resolutely strictly handle violations, contributing to ensuring food safety, for the health of the community in the area.

- Business household owner Ho Quynh Anh: Displaying and storing food on unsanitary equipment, tools, and materials.
- Business household owner Tran Thi Kim Thanh: Displaying and storing food on unsanitary equipment, tools, and materials.
- Owner of Ty Ty Hotpot business household: Displaying and storing food on equipment, tools, and materials that do not ensure hygiene.
- Business household owner Nguyen Thi Thao: Not having enough processing, preservation and separate use tools for fresh food and processed food.
- Business household owner Nguyen Anh Tuan: Displaying and storing food on unsanitary equipment, tools, and materials.
- Business household owner Ngo Thanh Sang: Operating food services without a Certificate of eligibility for food safety.
