Phu Tho - Hoa Binh Ward invests 55 billion VND to build and expand Ly Tu Trong Secondary School to meet learning needs and improve the quality of education in the area.

Hoa Binh Ward was established on the basis of merging the entire area and population of 7 communes and wards of Hoa Binh city in the past, including: Phuong Lam, Dong Tien, Quynh Lam, Huu Nghi, Thinh Lang, Tan Thinh, Trung Minh.

With a population of nearly 79,000 people, Hoa Binh ward is currently the most populous administrative unit in Phu Tho province. The ward Party Committee has 157 directly affiliated party organizations with over 6,000 party members.

In Hoa Binh ward, the project "Building and expanding Ly Tu Trong Secondary School" was approved by the Hoa Binh City People's Council (former Hoa Binh province) from October 22, 2024, according to Decision No. 119/NQ-HDND.

This is a group B project, with a total investment of 55 billion VND invested by the Hoa Binh Ward Project Management Board (before the merger, the investor was the Hoa Binh City Construction Investment Project Management Board).

According to the reporter's investigation, the Hoa Binh Ward Project Management Board recently issued a bidding invitation notice for "Package No. 01: Construction" of the project.

Package No. 01 was widely bid through the network, with a price of nearly 48.7 billion VND from public investment capital of Hoa Binh ward budget.

In the near future, after the project investor approves the contractor selection results for the above-mentioned construction package, the contractor will construct and expand Ly Tu Trong Secondary School.

The school has a total land area of 7,029.7m2; total floor area of the project is 6,648.9m2; total construction area is 2,709.5m2 (construction density accounts for 38.5%); area of green trees, playgrounds, sports fields is 2,535m2 (accounting for 36.1%); internal traffic area is 1,785.2m2 (accounting for 25.4%).

According to the technical requirements in the bidding documents, the scope of work of package No. 01 includes the construction of the following items:

Classroom building combined with 4-story subject rooms: Planting designed with 2 perpendicular blocks (L-shaped), total floor area 4050.42m2, reinforced concrete frame structure, total height from the yard surface to the top of the roof 17.25m.

3-story learning support house: The house floor is designed in a rectangular shape, total floor area of 893.7m2, reinforced concrete frame structure, total height from the yard surface to the top of the roof is 13.65m.

Multi-purpose house (1 floor): The house floor is designed in a rectangular shape, total floor area of 462m2, reinforced concrete frame structure, total height from the yard to the top of the roof is 10.63m.

In addition, the bidding package also includes items: School gate combined with permanent house; outdoor stage; fence; teacher parking garage; student parking garage; repair of administration building; fire prevention and fighting water tank; technical infrastructure items.

Regarding the implementation progress, the project requires a time from commencement to completion of the project not exceeding 1,095 days.

The project is invested with the goal of ensuring facilities for teaching and learning, contributing to improving the quality of education while aiming to reach national standard level II.
