Starting construction of 1,450 houses
In the last days of May, the urgent working atmosphere spread throughout the rural areas of Quang Binh province. Hundreds of new houses are being urgently completed, bringing hope for a stable life for poor households, near-poor people, meritorious people and ethnic minorities.
According to the Steering Committee to erase the temporary houses, the dilapidated house in Quang Binh province, so far the locality has started 1,450 houses in the first phase of the program to delete temporary houses for poor and near -poor households - reaching 100% of the plan. Among them, there were 988 units completed, reaching 68%. The goal of June 30 must hand over the entire number of houses in the first phase and continue to start 179 units in the second phase, completed before the 2.9.
In addition, the housing support program for meritorious people and martyrs' relatives is also being prioritized. The province has started construction on 1,950 out of nearly 2,400 units, of which 1,300 units have been completed. Strive to complete all houses for martyrs' relatives before July 27, and by September 2 the houses for people with meritorious services to the revolution will be completed.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, said that the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Quang Binh province has assigned specific tasks to departments, branches and sectors, especially the heads of grassroots government.

The Head of the Steering Committee directs all levels to resolutely implement the Program with the spirit of "6 clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear authority, clear time, clear results" to speed up progress, basically completing all 3 programs to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Binh province before September 2 this year.
Determined to complete on time
To speed up the progress, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province has directed districts and towns to establish special working groups to stay in the area and directly supervise the construction of each house. Organizations such as the Front, Youth Union, Women's Union, etc. were mobilized to propagate and call on the community to participate in supporting.
To date, the whole province has mobilized more than 165 billion VND and more than 20,000 working days. These significant figures contribute significantly to the completion of the targets of eliminating temporary houses ahead of schedule.
In particular, the province is stepping up inspection and urging to ensure the quality of housing after construction.
In the coming time, Quang Binh determined to continue to maintain rapid progress but must strictly control quality.
The elimination of temporary houses is not only a political task, but a responsibility of the whole society towards the poor, meritorious people and people in mountainous areas, emphasized the Provincial Party Secretary.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang informed that the province will continue to be steadfast in its orientation and viewpoint of completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses not only as a particularly important political task but also as a responsibility and profession to the people and those who have contributed to the revolution.
