The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has just announced the approval of the investment policy and approved the investor to implement the Dong Hoi Air Traffic Control Station project and auxiliary items. This project will be implemented by Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation - LLC, headquartered in Hanoi.
The goal of the project is to build a new air traffic control tower, meeting international standards, with modern and impressive architecture. The control station will be able to observe key locations, ensure good visibility and meet the requirements for safe and efficient flight operations at Dong Hoi Airport.
The project is being implemented at Dong Hoi Airport, Loc Ninh Commune, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, with a land area of 7,600 m2. The main items of the project include: a 27m high air traffic control tower, a ground floor area of 53m2, a 78m2 command post, a flight operator house with an area of 1st floor (967m2), 2nd floor (750m2), and other auxiliary works such as the source station, security house, and green area.
The project has a total investment of 138 billion VND and is expected to complete land allocation and land lease procedures in the fourth quarter of 2025. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the third quarter of 2026.
The People's Committee of Quang Binh province also requires investors to complete procedures within 24 months to avoid losing the effectiveness of the investment policy. If the investor does not comply with the schedule, the project will be revoked without compensation.
