On October 15, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province chaired a meeting with departments and branches to give opinions on promulgating Regulations on expenditure tasks for organizing the implementation of administrative unit reorganization and support levels for commune-level administrative units implementing the reorganization in the province in 2025; supplementing funding to build a traffic safety system (TS) for road routes in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Y Ngoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the province should consider supporting this funding amount soon for 90 communes and wards to implement the restructuring of the apparatus.
At the same time, consider supporting 5 communes and Ly Son special zone that do not implement the restructuring of the apparatus because in reality, localities are facing many difficulties, with the proposed support level being 2 billion VND/commune; 1 billion VND for Ly Son special zone.
Concluding this content, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang agreed with the content of the draft decision developed by the Department of Finance. Regarding the support for 5 communes and special areas of Ly Son that do not implement the apparatus arrangement, the province agreed on the mechanism and assigned the Department of Finance to determine the source of expenditure, advising the Provincial People's Committee to decide on the expenditure level.
Regarding the content of supplementing funding for the construction of road traffic safety systems in the province, the Department of Finance submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration, decision, and supplementation of 19.5 billion VND from the provincial budget reserve in 2025 to carry out the construction of road traffic safety works and systems in the province.
