On December 14, the leaders of Quang Ngai province said that they had directed relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to report on the preparation work for the groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, taking place on the morning of December 19, 2025.
The three projects that were started include: Hoa Phat Dung Quat Railway and Special Steel Railway Railway Production Project, with a total investment of VND 10,000 billion; Quang Ngai City Rainwater and Wastewater Treatment System Project in the southern basin of Tra Khuc River, with a total investment of about VND 1,000 billion; Dung Quat Economic Zone Infrastructure Upgrade and Expansion Project, with a total investment of about VND 350 billion.
Currently, the work of selecting site locations, reception, logistics, scripts, guest lists, electricity supply, transmission lines connection, etc. has been basically completed. Units are continuing to deploy stage decoration, visual propaganda, reviewing to ensure security, safety, environmental sanitation, etc., ensuring that the event takes place as planned and meets requirements.
According to Mr. Do Tam Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the provincial leaders requested departments, branches, sectors, units and localities to focus on completing all tasks from scripts, reception, logistics, program content to general environmental cleaning..., ensuring completion at least 3 days before the groundbreaking ceremony.
The Department of Construction coordinates with relevant agencies to review, adjust and supplement necessary tasks to connect the main bridge point synchronously with other bridges in the province and nationwide.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism creates content to provide news agencies and newspapers with information about the ceremony; coordinates inspection of the welcoming art program, orientation of propaganda..., contributing to creating an exciting and joyful atmosphere.
According to the plan, at 8:00 a.m. on December 19, 2025, in Quang Ngai, a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party will take place. Hoa Phat Dung Quat Railway and Special Steel Railway Railway Manufacturing Project, invested by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Special Steel Joint Stock Company. The groundbreaking ceremony was held at the project construction site in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Van Tuong commune. This is the main bridge point of the province and one of 10 bridges connecting direct television to the Central Government.
The project of the system to collect and treat rainwater and wastewater in Quang Ngai City, the southern basin of the downstream of the Tra Khuc River, invested by the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works; the ceremony location is at Pham Van Dong Street Square, Cam Thanh Ward.
The project to upgrade and expand the transport infrastructure system in Dung Quat Economic Zone is invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; the location of the festival at Thien Dang roundabout, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Son commune.
On this occasion, Quang Ngai also has an additional inauguration point for the North-South expressway construction project in the East, phase 2021 - 2025, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon section; location at tunnel No. 3, Khanh Cuong commune.
