Connecting jobs for young workers in mountainous areas
In 2025, businesses in Quang Ngai province will need to recruit more than 18,000 workers in many different levels and positions, of which the rate of workers with degrees and certificates accounts for more than 34%.

Recently, in Ia Toi commune, the Department of Home Affairs organized a conference to advise and introduce domestic and contract labor export, attracting about 100 workers to learn about and access job opportunities that suit their needs and personal abilities.

Le Thi Minh Nguyet, residing in village 7, Ia Loi commune, shared: I am currently in grade 12, but have not yet clearly oriented my career in the future. However, after attending the conference held in the commune, I have a clearer view and will choose a career that suits my interests and abilities".
Up to now, the total outstanding social policy credit in Ia Loi commune has reached 154 billion VND with nearly 1,400 customers borrowing capital, of which about 75% of outstanding loans are related to job creation support. This result has contributed significantly to sustainable poverty reduction in the locality, helping the poverty rate of the commune decrease to 3.8%.
Mr. Le Thinh - Deputy Director of the Social Policy Banking Transaction Office Ia H'Drai (Quang Ngai province) said: "The bank has closely coordinated with the socio-political organizations receiving the entrustment, as well as relevant agencies to implement the integration of national target programs. Thereby, workers can easily access capital, gradually develop the economy and stabilize their lives".

Mr. Nguyen Duc Kiem - Recruitment Director of Thang Long Human Resources Supply and Management Joint Stock Company shared: "We are currently implementing the labor market in Saudi Arabia. After 2 years of working here, they can accumulate from 200 to 240 million VND. For ethnic minority girls, this is a huge amount of money, enough to build a small house or start a business. More importantly, they also learn working style, professional skills and change their thinking in economic development in the future".
In 2025, the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province plans to coordinate with localities and businesses to organize 15 job consultation, introduction and transaction programs. The goal is to create a favorable environment for businesses, training facilities and workers to directly meet, exchange information, interview, enroll and recruit.
These programs will actively contribute to connecting labor supply and demand, helping to stabilize and develop the local labor market. Since the beginning of the year, more than 15,500 workers have had jobs created through consultation, connection and recruitment programs.
