Following the direction of the Central Government and the province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province has launched agencies, businesses, organizations, and philanthropists to join hands to support people in Lam Dong province affected by floods.
The appeal quickly received a strong response, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and community responsibility of the people of the Mining Area.
According to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in just two days (from November 22 to 11:00 on November 24), the total amount of support exceeded 1.25 billion VND, of which more than 50 million VND was directly supported in cash. More than 20 individuals and units brought gifts, including rice, drinking water, milk and many essential necessities.
On November 22, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee organized a bus trip to transport 45 tons of emergency goods - including rice, food, necessities and medicine - to Lam Dong province. These goods arrived at noon on November 24 and were promptly delivered to support people in flooded areas.
On November 24, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received more than 100 tons of goods, including over 6.4 tons of rice. That same evening, more than 60 tons of necessities continued to be sent to Lam Dong Provincial Hospitals.

Mong Cai Volunteer Club and benefactors alone mobilized a container of about 50 tons of goods and 5 cars carrying more than 20 tons of necessities and clothes.
Club President, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong shared: This journey of love will not stop. We continue to mobilize and are ready to accompany whenever our hometown needs us.
On the morning of November 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of wards and communes in the province also held a launching ceremony to support the people of Lam Dong province. Right at the launching ceremony, Bai Chay ward received nearly 1.6 billion VND, including nearly 900 million VND in cash; 30 tons of flour; 10 tons of rice; 1,200 liters of cooking oil and many other necessities.

Hong Gai ward received more than 1.4 billion VND, including 710 million VND in cash and 15 tons of goods and necessities worth about 700 million VND.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province affirmed that immediately after receiving the support, the province will organize trips to bring goods to the flooded areas as quickly and promptly as possible, contributing to supporting people in flooded areas to soon stabilize their lives.
