At the conference, Quang Ninh province awarded the Decision approving the investment policy and investment registration certificates to 7 projects with a total capital of more than VND 16,000 billion (equivalent to 60 million USD).
The projects include: solid waste treatment center, planting high-quality fruit trees, clean vegetables and green parks (Thong Nhat commune); Project to build a ready-built factory and a ready-built warehouse for rent; Project to accommodate workers in Viet Hung Industrial Park; Investment project to build Chanh 3 River Port.
Quang Ninh Province Dairy and High-Tech Milk Processing Project in Quang Tan Commune, Dam Ha Commune; Project to build a Concentrated Digital Technology Park and an auxiliary area in Tuan Chau Ward; Project of Industrial Aquaculture and breeding Center and Dam Ha Solar Power Plant.
The conference also witnessed the signing of many memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation between provincial agencies, organizations and enterprises with domestic and foreign investors in the fields of: Digital economy, smart cities, digital infrastructure, AI - Big Data - IoT, creative startups, high-quality human resource training, research - technology transfer, energy industry and cultural industry.
In his opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khang emphasized the conference to promote cooperation, share technology, experience and resources, thereby creating new steps forward in innovation and digital transformation.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan highly appreciated the results that Quang Ninh has achieved in science and technology development and digital transformation in recent times. He suggested that the province continue to improve institutions according to Resolution 57, promote public-private cooperation, build specific mechanisms for innovation, expand the science and technology market, promote the high-tech ecosystem and promote the application of AI in production - services - urban governance.
At the discussion session, experts and international enterprises from Korea, Japan, the UAE... shared their experiences in high-tech development, digital transformation, and assessed Quang Ninh as a locality with many cooperation opportunities in the coming period.
