On April 9, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee said that it had sent a document to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, reporting on the results of reviewing the needs and plans for arranging working headquarters in the southern area of the province.
According to the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, after arranging administrative units, the southern area (including Dong Ha and Nam Dong Ha wards) has a need to arrange working departments of some provincial-level agencies to ensure direction and administration as well as serve people and businesses. Through review, there are 230 officials and civil servants of 26 agencies and units who need to be arranged to work at headquarters in this area.
On that basis, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee proposed a plan to allocate 230 officials and civil servants to work at the old Provincial People's Committee headquarters (45 Hung Vuong, Dong Ha ward), the old Provincial Party Committee headquarters (30 Hung Vuong, Dong Ha ward) and some existing headquarters in Dong Ha and Nam Dong Ha wards.
Currently, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee is considering and reporting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for directing opinions to implement this plan.
