On August 29, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that it had decided to allocate nearly 185 billion VND from the targeted additional budget from the central budget to temporarily allocate to 78 communes, wards and special zones to give gifts to the entire population on the occasion of National Day 2.9.
Accordingly, 1,847,378 people in the province will receive gifts, at a rate of 100,000 VND/person. The People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones are responsible for using them for the right purposes and conducting financial settlements according to regulations.
Currently, the grassroots police are urgently reviewing the entire population, including permanent residents, temporary residents and people actually living but not yet in the National Population Database.
At the same time, the authorities also instructed people to complete the procedures for granting level 2 electronic identification accounts, opening bank accounts, and integrating social security benefits on VNeID.
Previously, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg dated August 28, 2025 on giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
This activity has profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the concern of the Party and State for the people, contributing to the full celebration of the National Day.
