On July 17, Na Tau Commune Police (Dien Bien province) issued a warning about the situation of negative taluy landslides on National Highway 279, in the Na Lao village area, Na Tau commune.
According to the police agency, the landslide point has damaged part of the road surface, posing a potential risk to the safety of people and vehicles passing through the area.
Functional forces recommend vehicle drivers to reduce speed, pay attention to observation and comply with orders and directions of the task force.
At noon on the same day, Na Tau Commune Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Department (PC08), Dien Bien Provincial Police to stretch ropes and plant dangerous warning signs in the landslide area to ensure traffic safety and prevent accidents.
Functional forces continue to monitor developments at the scene, and at the same time recommend that people and vehicles when traveling through the above road section need to be vigilant and follow instructions to ensure safety.
