The Provincial Department of Construction said that from February 15, it will put into operation the intersection between Huong Lo 2 road and National Highway 51 (replacing the intersection of National Highway 51 and Ngo Quyen road).

According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, the project to build Huong Lo 2 extended road (section 1) at the intersection between Huong Lo 2 and National Highway 51 is ready for connection.

The project to build Huong Lo 2 extended road (section 1) has a length of nearly 2 km, the starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 51, the ending point of the route intersects with the existing asphalt road (An Hoa - Long Hung road), Long Hung ward, Dong Nai province, which started construction at the end of 2020.

The project to build Huong Lo 2 extended road (section 1) is located in the traffic axis connecting Dong Nai province with Ho Chi Minh City through the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

Currently, Dong Nai province is also implementing investment procedures for Huong Lo 2 road (section 2) to complete the connection from National Highway 51 to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

When completed synchronously, the road will help shorten the distance and travel time from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City and contribute to reducing traffic volume on National Highway 51.
