On September 21, according to a report by the Repatriation Team of Martyrs' Remains under the Ho Chi Minh City Command, forces continued to deploy the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park.
During the day, the task force processed more than 500m3 of soil, continuing to expand the search area in Zone A. The Ho Chi Minh City Command mobilized 3 excavators, 1 dump truck and 2 3.5-ton trucks to serve the excavation and transportation of soil, ensuring the progress of task implementation.
At ditch No. 2, Zone A, functional forces discovered and collected 1 more set of martyrs' remains.
Accumulated from June 23 to the end of September 21, 2026, the forces have discovered and collected 664 sets of martyrs' remains, of which 298 sets have artifacts.
Specifically, 631 sets of martyrs' remains were discovered and collected separately. In addition, 33 sets of martyrs' remains were found at 8 collective grave locations, including 2 locations in Zone A and 6 locations in Zone B.
The search and repatriation of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park is continuing to be implemented.
