Accordingly, in recent days, many officers of Nghi Xuan - Hong Linh Forest Protection Department have coordinated with local authorities and the Co Dam Commune Police to dismantle and destroy hundreds of fake storks and means and tools to trap migratory birds.
The authorities also destroyed many shelters, planted trees in the canals of the Dong Ken river, ponds, lakes, and fields to serve the hunting of wild birds.
Currently, the police of some communes have also increased inspection and handling of violations of wild bird trapping and trading.
Recently, on the evening of September 13, Cam Binh Commune Police discovered and seized a set of fake bird calls, 250m of used nets used to trap wild birds in violation of regulations.
Along with patrolling and controlling, Cam Binh Commune Police also promote propaganda and dissemination of laws to each village, mobilizing people to raise awareness and voluntarily comply with regulations on wildlife protection.
