In the first days of the new year, when many people are gathering with their families, the working atmosphere at the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang highway construction site is still bustling. Workers and machines operate continuously, ensuring the set progress.
At the section of the No. 4 package, through Quang Minh commune (Bac Quang), workers in reflective vests and safety helmets were busy leveling and compacting the road surface before spreading the asphalt. The sound of excavators and rollers echoed, creating a hurried and urgent construction atmosphere.
A worker shared that this year, he and his colleagues put aside the joy of family reunions and encouraged each other to work to keep the progress uninterrupted, especially when the project is entering the final stage.

"Although far from home, work is still a priority. We are constructing the roadbed and lowering the slope. Some sections of the terrain are mountainous, so the amount of leveling and excavation work is quite large.
Up to now, many important items such as box culverts, round culverts, civil tunnels and most of the bridges on the route have been completed," said this worker.
The tireless hands working day and night are still opening up trade routes, lighting up hope for the border areas, opening up opportunities for local economic development, and improving the lives of people along the route.
Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway is nearly 105km long, of which 77km belongs to Tuyen Quang province and 27.5km belongs to Ha Giang province. The total investment capital is 10,000 billion VND, deployed from 2023 and expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
Up to now, after 2 years of implementation, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project has reached 65% of the volume and is expected to speed up progress and accelerate construction after the Lunar New Year holiday.
Mr. Luong Van Doan - Director of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Ha Giang province, affirmed that the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway has important significance, promoting socio-economic development.
Despite the rugged terrain and harsh weather, the construction unit at the project is still determined to stick to the construction site, ensuring quality and progress.
