On June 22nd, while guiding a group of tourists to swim and see coral reefs in the buoy area for swimmers in Hon Mun Marine Protected Area, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dai - a diving guide with many years of attachment to Nha Trang Bay - suddenly discovered a sea turtle (bait hill) swimming in clear blue water.
According to Mr. Dai, although he has been in the profession for many years and regularly takes tourists to explore Hon Mun sea area, this is the first time he has witnessed sea turtles appearing right in the area he is guiding visitors to.
Immediately after discovering the sea turtle, Mr. Dai reminded tourists to keep a distance, not to swim along, not to surround or try to touch the turtle individual. Everyone quietly observed until the sea turtle slowly left.
The appearance of sea turtles at Hon Mun is a memorable moment for sea tourism workers as well as tourists present here.
This is not only a special experience in the journey to explore the sea, but also a reminder of the value of protecting the natural environment.
