On July 26, according to Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), the main construction packages at component project 3 of Long Thanh airport to date have reached more than 57,807 billion VND, equivalent to about 69.69% of the contract value.
Package No. 4-6, construction of runways, taxiways, and aircraft landing pads has a volume value of more than 90%.
Package No. 4. 7, construction and installation of equipment for aircraft apron and passenger terminal, the value of the implemented volume reached nearly 90%.
Package No. 4. 8, construction of inland port traffic and airport technical infrastructure, the value of implemented volume reached nearly 65%.
Package No. 4. 9, construction of aircraft fuel supply system has a volume value of nearly 88%.
Package No. 4. 12, construction of the 2nd runway, taxiway and other synchronous works has a volume value of more than 59%.
Package No. 5-10, passenger terminal construction has a volume value of more than 67%.
Package No. 5. 11, construction of airport management system has a volume value of more than 51%.
Package No. 6. 12, construction of connecting traffic (route No. 1 and route No. 2) has been basically completed.
Package No. 11. 5, parking garage construction has a volume value of nearly 37%. According to the schedule, this package will be completed on October 30, 2026.
Package No. 7-8, construction of cargo terminal No. 1 and auxiliary works has a volume value of about 36%. According to the plan, this package will be completed on October 30, 2026.
Previously, component project 3 of Long Thanh airport also completed 3 bidding packages including: bidding package 2.4 (inner fence 1.810ha), bidding package 3.4 (base leveling and drainage) and bidding package 5.6 (pile construction of passenger terminal).
The entire component project 3 of Long Thanh airport has a total production value of about 77.85%. The total investment of the project is 99. 019 billion VND.
Long Thanh Airport phase 1 builds 2 runways, 1 passenger terminal and synchronous auxiliary items, with a capacity of 25 million passengers/year and 1.2 million tons of cargo/year; completion and commissioning time at the end of 2026.
