Da Lat Stadium is built on high ground in Langbiang - Da Lat ward, Lam Dong province.
This is a project located in the Lam Dong Cultural - Sports Complex Project invested by the Lam Dong Provincial Cultural - Sports Construction Investment Project Management Board (now the Lam Dong Provincial Traffic Project Management Board).

The Lam Dong Cultural - Sports Complex project has a total investment of more than 274 billion VND, starting in 2013.
In which, Da Lat Stadium is the main item, started in early 2020 and completed and put into use at the end of 2023, with a capacity of about 20,000 seats.
However, although it has not been put into operation for long, many items of the stadium have been damaged and degraded.

Recorded at the scene, the paint in front of the stadium was cracked and peeling.
Some foundation locations outside the stands have cracks and subsidence. The drainage system around the stadium is tanked and has lost covers in many sections.
In the stairs and walls surrounding the stadium, the authorities used black granite to cover and pave the project to create a highlight for the project. However, many locations were encroached upon and destroyed by people. The area outside the stands is paved with diamonds, but the stone plans have been physically impacted, causing serious cracks and breaks.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, a resident of Langbiang - Da Lat ward, said: "The newly built yard is damaged everywhere. The project is still new but looks like a long- abandoned building".

The stairs leading to the stands are also overgrown with weeds and bushes, while garbage and soap are piled up around the stadium area, causing loss of aesthetics and potential environmental pollution.

Discussing this issue, the leader of Langbiang - Da Lat ward said: Last week, we inspected the stadium area and will soon meet with relevant parties to clarify the situation of surrounding garbage, and at the same time request units to organize cleaning and clean up the surrounding environment.
