More than 44 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the stadium
The Phu Tho Town Stadium Renovation and Upgrade Project has a total investment of more than 44 billion VND. At the end of December 2024, the Phu Tho Town Construction Project Management Board selected a contractor for the construction package.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in the first days of the year, the contractor mobilized human resources and vehicles to Phu Tho town stadium to carry out construction work.
According to the technical requirements of the project, the contractor will renovate and upgrade all items of the stadium. Some items include covered stands, athletes' rest houses; the stands will be renovated and the seating height will be adjusted accordingly.
The football field will be expanded to the standard size of 65x100 m; the entire field surface will be redone with a surrounding drainage system, natural grass and running pitch... the communication system, internet, camera, air conditioning will be invested in a new, synchronous and modern way.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh, a resident of Hung Vuong ward, Phu Tho town, shared: "The people of Dat To love football and sports, the demand is increasing, so renovating and upgrading the stadium at this time is very appropriate."
With a construction period of 360 days, people expect that by the end of 2025, Phu Tho town stadium will have a new, spacious and modern look.
300 billion VND road is about to open
The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Provincial Road 325B, connecting Ho Chi Minh Road to Ngoc Thap Bridge and the rescue route has a total adjusted investment of 300 billion VND.
This project route is nearly 8 km long, nearly half of the length passes through Ha Thach commune (Phu Tho town), the remaining section passes through Tien Kien commune and Xuan Lung commune (Lam Thao district).
According to records, the section in Lam Thao district has mostly been paved with asphalt, the rest is being dug up, filled with roadbed and spread with crushed stone.
Although the section in Ha Thach commune has been completed, about 1.2 km of the new road (the section bypassing the center of Ha Thach commune) is blocked by a hard fence because it has not been handed over and put into use.
Mr. Vu Quang Dao - a resident living in the Ngoc Thap bridge resettlement area, Ha Thach commune - said: "Since the collapse of Phong Chau bridge, many vehicles have been going through Ngoc Thap bridge through the center of Ha Thach commune, and there have been many times when there has been congestion. If the 1.2 km long bypass road in the commune center is opened, this problem will be solved."
Regarding the section in Ha Thach commune, according to the Phu Tho town construction project management board, in January 2025, after completing the acceptance and handover procedures, the barrier will be opened to serve the travel needs of the people.
45 billion VND to build a market with land auction area near Phu Ha industrial park
By the end of November 2024, Phu Ha Industrial Park had attracted 29 investment enterprises with a total capital of about 1.2 billion USD, creating jobs for more than 23,000 workers.
The demand for buying and selling goods is increasing, but there is currently no market around this industrial park. Meanwhile, the situation of spontaneous markets, encroaching on the sidewalk on Hung Vuong Street (going through the industrial park) is common.
Therefore, Phu Tho town has started to implement the project of building infrastructure for Phu Ha market and auctioning land use rights (LUR) in the two communes of Phu Ho and Ha Thach to solve the above problem.
At the end of December 2024, this project with a total investment of 45 billion VND selected a contractor.
According to the Phu Tho Town Construction Project Management Board, the unit is currently organizing the selection of contractors for the consulting and supervision package. Once the results are available, construction work will be carried out immediately.
