The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section, started at the end of 2022 with a route length of 21.7 km (excluding the section through Chuong My ward from Km19+920 to Km22+220).
The total investment of the project is over 9,590 billion VND, implemented in the 2022-2027 period. When completed, the road will have a cross-section of 50-60 m.
The project to expand National Highway 6 through Phu Nghia commune has a length of 7.8 km. Over the past time, Phu Nghia commune has mobilized the participation of the entire political system in propaganda, mobilization, dialogue, answering people's petitions and fully implementing compensation, support, and resettlement regimes and policies in accordance with the law.
Thanks to the consensus and support of the majority of people, up to now, the whole commune has handed over 98% of the total recovered area for project implementation; of which 1,323/1,366 land plots have been handed over, and 12 graves have been moved within the site clearance area for project implementation.
Currently, there are still 43 land plots of households and individuals that have not been handed over land.
Phu Nghia commune strives to complete the handover of 100% of the site to the investor of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section by June 30.
According to Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee, the time from now until June 30, 2026 - the milestone to complete the entire site clearance work in the commune, is not much left. To ensure the overall progress of the project, Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee calls on households and individuals who have not yet handed over the site to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility for the common good, strictly comply with the State's land acquisition policy, and hand over the site soon according to regulations.
The voluntary handover of land not only shows a sense of respect for the law but also contributes to ensuring the rights of the households themselves, avoiding unnecessary developments in the process of organization and implementation.
For cases that have been propagated, mobilized, and dialogued many times but still intentionally do not comply, Phu Nghia commune will organize land recovery coercion in accordance with the order and procedures of law from June 25, 2026.
This is the final solution to ensure the strictness of the law and complete the site clearance task before June 30, 2026 according to the city's direction.
Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee hopes that the remaining households will continue to accompany the locality, voluntarily hand over the land before the time of coercion so that the project can be implemented smoothly, contributing to building an increasingly developed, civilized and modern locality.
