Nearly 40km of road to pass through 8 communes in Dong Nai to be expanded soon

Dong Nai - The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 773 passing through 8 communes is planned to start construction at the end of the second quarter of 2026.

On March 31, according to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board: The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 773 is expected to start construction at the end of the second quarter of 2026.

Previously, the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board had a document proposing to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Finance to approve the allocation of capital in 2026 to implement the next tasks of the project implementation phase. Up to now, the investor has approved the contractor selection results for bidding packages to prepare survey tasks and supervise terrain and geological survey work; develop construction designs to be implemented after the basic design of the project...

The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 773 has a total length of nearly 40 km, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), ending point to Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ring Road 4 HCMC, shortening travel time from communes in Dong Nai province as well as provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central region to Long Thanh airport; connecting the quadrilateral of Bien Hoa - Long Thanh - Trang Bom - Nhon Trach industrial parks to meet traffic and transportation needs, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1.

For the project of compensation, support, resettlement, site clearance, upgrading and expanding provincial road 773 (Long Thanh - Cam My - Xuan Loc) with a total investment of about 1,790 billion VND, it will be implemented from 2022 - 2027.

The project has a total recovered land area of more than 300 hectares. In which, Xuan Phu, Xuan Loc, Xuan Hoa communes are about 45.23 hectares; Xuan Duong, Cam My, Xuan Dong, Xuan Que communes (formerly Cam My district) are about 237.95 hectares; Xuan Duong commune (formerly Long Thanh district) is about 18.92 hectares.

The total number of households expected to be resettled is about 395 households.

To connect localities in the province with Long Thanh airport, according to the plan, Dong Nai province will implement projects to upgrade, expand, and build 5 provincial roads including: 769, 769E, 773, 770B and the connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 HCMC.

Among these, projects to upgrade and expand provincial roads 769 and 773 have been included in the list of newly started projects in 2026; the Ring Road 4 project in Ho Chi Minh City is also planned to start construction in 2026.
