On the evening of October 27, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province Police said that due to a serious landslide on Song Pha Pass (also known as Ngoan Cach Pass) at around 6:00 p.m. the same day, the unit had advised vehicles not to travel through this area.
Currently, due to the darkness, the authorities have not been able to reach the scene, so they cannot carry out the cleanup. As soon as the incident occurred, the Traffic Police mobilized forces to get close to the landslide area to regulate and divert traffic.
In the immediate future, to ensure safety, vehicles are temporarily not allowed to move down the pass.

In addition to Song Pha Pass, heavy rain also caused local flooding in some sections of National Highway 20, especially the area near the foot of Prenn Pass and the section through Hiep Thanh Commune (Lam Dong).
Water from residential areas and hillsides on both sides fell onto the road, causing many sections to be flooded 4060cm deep, traffic was cut off, many motorbikes and small cars stalled in the middle of the road.
The Traffic Police force, local authorities and the Commune Military Command were present to guide and support people to move safely.
At about 6:55 p.m. the same day, although the rain had decreased, the water on the road surface had not yet receded, and vehicles could not travel through the flooded area.
