On the afternoon of September 30, Quang Tri Power Company said that by 3:00 p.m. the same day, about 37,000 had not been restored to power. These customers are located in 15 wards and communes, mainly in the old Quang Trach district.
Previously, storm No. 10 caused incidents on many power lines and distribution transformer stations. Immediately after the storm, the electricity industry organized inspections, isolated the incident elements and gradually restored power supply to customers.
To speed up the progress, in addition to mobilizing the entire workforce in the province, Quang Tri Power Company also received support from more than 200 workers and engineers from units under the Central Power Corporation such as Hue Power Corporation, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa and Central Power Service Company.
"Workers and engineers in the electricity industry are working day and night to fix the problems to complete the power supply to all customers as soon as possible" - the leader of Quang Tri Power Company informed.
