After the merger, Ho Chi Minh City appoints leaders of 15 departments and branches

Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a decision to appoint leaders of 15 new departments and branches after merging the two provinces of Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

On the afternoon of July 1, the 10th term People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City held its first session after merging Ho Chi Minh City with the two provinces of Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, under the direction of Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

At the meeting, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council passed a resolution to establish specialized agencies under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

After the merger, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has 15 specialized agencies, including: Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Office, Department of Justice, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate and Department of Food Safety.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has appointed leaders for these 15 departments and branches.

Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Office: Mr. Duong Hong Thang - Chairman of Hoc Mon District People's Committee (old) as Chief of Office, along with 9 Deputy Chief of Office.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs: Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien (Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union) as Director, along with 10 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice) as Director, along with 5 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance: Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh - Vice Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee (old) as Director, along with 18 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction: Mr. Vo Hoang Ngan - Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee (old) as Director, along with 17 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment: Currently, there is a shortage of Director. Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut (Deputy Director of the old Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment) is the Executive and Head of the Department; in addition, there are 15 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training: Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training) as Director, along with 9 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health: Mr. Tang Chi Thuong (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health) as Director, along with 8 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety: Ms. Pham Khanh Phong Lan (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety) as Director, along with a Deputy Director, Mr. Le Minh Hai.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade: Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu (former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade) as Director, along with 8 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology: Mr. Lam Dinh Thang (former Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City) as Director, along with 9 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports: Mr. Tran The Thuan (former Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City) as Director, along with 11 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism: Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa (former Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism) as Director, along with 2 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions: Mr. Nguyen Van Dong (former Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) as Director, along with 7 Deputy Directors.

Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate: Mr. Tran Van Bay (former Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City) is the Chief Inspector, along with 7 Deputy Chief Inspectorates.
