    On December 13, the People's Committee of Hoan Lao town said that an accident had just occurred in the area, causing one death.

    According to initial information, at 4:50 p.m. on December 12, at Km 645 + 800m of National Highway 1 (in Hoan Lao town, Quang Binh province), an accident occurred.

    At that time, Nguyen Duy Nam (born in 2008, residing in Noi Hai village, Hai Phu commune, Bo Trach district) was driving a motorbike with license plate 73F1-196.xx traveling from South to North, carrying P.H.V.A (born in 2008, residing in Thuong Hoa village, Hai Phu commune).

    At this time, Nam's car collided with motorbike with license plate 73F1-296.xx driven by Ms. Hoang Thi Thao Dung (born 2002, Hoan Lao town) traveling in the same direction.

    After the collision, A fell onto the road and was run over by a tractor trailer with license plate 50H-353.xx pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 50RM-011.xx driven by Nguyen Quoc Cuong (born in 1997, residing in My Hiep commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province) traveling in the same direction.

    As a result, A died on the spot. Motorcycle 73F1-196.xx was damaged.

    The incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
