On June 26, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province confirmed that it will continue to maintain the operation of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center located in Dong Ha city (Quang Tri province).
This center is the second facility of the new Quang Tri province when merging Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces.
" Maintaining the Public Administration Service Center, Facility 2 in Dong Ha is to ensure that the service to people and businesses is not interrupted after July 1, 2025, this is the time to operate the new unified provincial government model" - the leader of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province informed.
Previously, at the meeting on June 23, 2025 between the People's Committee of Quang Binh province and the People's Committee of Quang Tri province on the arrangement of administrative units and the organization of the two-level local government apparatus, it was agreed to maintain the Public Administration Service Center, Facility 2 in Dong Ha to ensure smooth reception, settlement and return of administrative procedure results to people and businesses in the new southern part of the province.
To put the center into operation, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province requires specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and the Provincial Police to proactively work with relevant agencies of Quang Binh province to agree on a plan to arrange personnel for work. The Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri province is also assigned to coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Binh province to ensure the completion of all technical and operational contents before July 1, 2025.
