On the morning of December 14, at the 24th Session of the 18th Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, Mr. Do Minh Tuan - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - spoke to receive and explain issues of concern to the Provincial People's Council delegates and voters.
Responding to the proposal of delegate Cao Tien Doan - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Business Association, Chairman of Dong A Thanh Hoa Football Club on the current development of Thanh Hoa football, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised Mr. Doan and the province for building a football team that has achieved excellent results in recent times.
"At first, everyone thought Thanh Hoa was a weak team, but the more the team played, the better they got. There were localities with developed economies but the team had to disband, but Thanh Hoa team still maintained its position. Our team is from a poor province, but the more it plays, the better it gets," Mr. Tuan shared.
According to the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in terms of infrastructure, in recent years, the province has invested quite a bit and Dong A Thanh Hoa Football Club has also invested a lot. Thanh Hoa Provincial Stadium, although not magnificent, is still in the "top" of beautiful stadiums with beautiful grass.
"The grass is beautiful, the piste is beautiful but the field is old, it cannot be expanded in all four directions. The province has planned a large sports center, has drawn a stadium in Quang Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa city, as beautiful as Old Trafford. In the future, we will attract private investors, socialize to do it" - Mr. Tuan informed.
Regarding the opinion of delegate Cao Tien Doan reflecting that the stadium lights are dim and the grandstand seats are still made of concrete. "The province has spent 40 billion VND to fix this problem, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be the unit to soon fix this problem" - Mr. Tuan informed.
