On the evening of September 28, due to the impact of storm No. 10, the Hon La port area (Phu Trach commune, Quang Tri province) recorded waves over 3m high, strong gusts of wind, accompanied by prolonged heavy rain.
Each strong wave comes ashore, overflowing onto the road leading to the port, creating white foam. The sea water rose rapidly, causing flooding in many sections of the road and overflowing into some coastal shops.

Mr. Pham Minh Canh - Chairman of Phu Trach Commune People's Committee said that all fishermen's boats have been moved to anchor safely at Roon Gate fishing port and shelters.
Local authorities have also urged people living near the sea to urgently evacuate to solid relatives' homes to ensure safety.
Border Guard, police and local militia are mobilized to fight 24/7, ready to rescue and support people in case of emergency.
