On the morning of October 15, at Sunjade Vietnam Shoe Company Limited (in Le Mon Industrial Park, Quang Hung Ward, Thanh Hoa City), a boiler incident occurred, causing a large amount of oil to spill into the industrial park's drainage ditch.
Immediately after the incident, authorities were present at the scene, coordinating with the company to handle the incident.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at 11:00 a.m. the same day, the company was still mobilizing people to absorb and remove the oil spill in the ditch area, the incident was basically resolved.
