Overnight work to fix landslide on Bao Loc pass

Lam Dong - Authorities worked through the night to fix the landslide on Bao Loc Pass so that people and vehicles could travel safely and smoothly.

On the morning of September 22, information from the Madaguoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department - Lam Dong Provincial Police) said that the unit had just coordinated with other functional forces to complete the repair of the landslide on Bao Loc Pass in the dark of night.

Previously, at 9:30 p.m. on September 21, authorities mobilized an excavator to the scene to attempt to remove large rocks and tree stumps at the landslide scene on Bao Loc Pass.

While authorities were working to fix the landslide, heavy rain caused many difficulties in moving large rocks...

To ensure safety, the Traffic Police force has blocked and temporarily stopped traffic in both directions through the landslide point on Bao Loc Pass.

After much effort, by about 11 p.m. the same day, all large rocks, tree stumps, etc. were collected by authorities to the roadside.

Here, authorities have put up ropes and warning signs to warn drivers of danger and ensure safety when traveling through Bao Loc Pass.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on National Highway 20, through Bao Loc Pass, Lam Dong province, a landslide occurred at night.

Initial information shows that the landslide occurred at around 7:00 p.m. the same day. At the scene, it was shown that rocks and tree roots from the slope of the pass had collapsed onto Highway 20.

Accordingly, many large rocks spilled out about 1.5m of the road surface in the direction of traffic from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City. Fortunately, the landslide did not injure anyone.
