On July 16, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police announced that on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, the construction unit is repairing Long Thanh Bridge at Km12+907, on the opposite side of the route (from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City). Therefore, to limit traffic and avoid congestion, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police recommends that transportation businesses, drivers, and drivers choose a suitable route to ensure traffic time.

Previously, on July 14, Vietnam Expressway Technical Services Joint Stock Company also announced that to serve the construction of repairing the expansion joints at the location of pier P26 - Km12 +907, Long Thanh bridge (left of the route) on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, the construction unit will temporarily limit speed and narrow the lane at the construction site by implementing a fence of 1/2 of the Long Thanh bridge surface within the construction area.
Specifically, the roadmap for arranging signs to limit speed and narrow the lane from Km12+827 to Km 13+322, from Dong Nai - Ho Chi Minh City.
The construction period is about 15 days, starting from July 15.
In order to ensure safety for vehicles traveling on the route, Vietnam Expressway Technical Services Joint Stock Company recommends that drivers and drivers comply with the signs as well as traffic regulation by the construction unit and functional forces on the route.

During the construction process, it is inevitable that there will be congestion on the route in the direction of Dong Nai - Ho Chi Minh City, and drivers are requested to consider other suitable routes, shared a representative of Vietnam Expressway Technical Services Joint Stock Company.
Previously, on May 31, Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) signed a decision approving the investment policy for the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway expansion project.
The construction area is nearly 22km long, starting at Km4+000 (Ring Road 2 intersection), Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. The end point is at Km25+920 (the intersection of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway) in Long Thanh District, Dong Nai.
Regarding the route direction, the project has a basic route following the old road, expanding to both sides. The section across Long Thanh Bridge will be expanded to the right side of the existing route (downstream).
Regarding the scale of the project, the section from the Ring Road 2 intersection to the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 intersection (Km4+000-Km8+844.5) will be invested in expanding from 4 lanes to 8 lanes.
In the section from the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 intersection to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway intersection, excluding the Long Thanh bridge (Km8+844.5-Km25+910) will be invested in expanding from 4 lanes to 10 lanes.
As for Long Thanh Bridge, invest in building a new bridge with a scale of 5 complete lanes in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Long Thanh, on the right side of the existing bridge.
The project is implemented according to procedures for emergency projects to be implemented in time to start construction on August 19, 2025.
