Cai Bang suspension bridge was put into use in early September 2010. The bridge is about 100m long, 2.1m wide, and has a permitted load capacity of 2.5 tons.

This bridge serves workers going back and forth to work at the ore washing mine of the Lam Dong Bauxite - Aluminum Project.

In addition, the bridge also serves hundreds of households to transport agricultural products and fertilizers for coffee cultivation.

After many years of operation, Cai Bang suspension bridge has been damaged and degraded. Many wooden planks on the bridge floor have broken, causing difficulties and dangers for people and vehicles when traveling.

Due to the travel needs of the people, especially the locality is starting the coffee harvest season, therefore, the need for people to travel and transport agricultural products across the suspension bridge has increased.

To ensure the safety of people when traveling and transporting agricultural products across Cai Bang suspension bridge, the People's Committee of Loc Thang town has allocated a reserve fund of 15 million VND.

At the same time, the locality mobilized local militia to participate in repairing and reinforcing the bridge. In the long term, the People's Committee of Loc Thang town proposed and was agreed by the People's Committee of Bao Lam district to include in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 to repair and upgrade Cai Bang suspension bridge.
