Ms. Hai Yen (resident of Vung Tau ward) said that at about 7:30 pm on May 14, while eating with friends at a restaurant on Vi Ba street, a large monkey suddenly appeared. Seeing a empty table with leftover food, it jumped onto the table to dig up food, causing many people to panic and avoid it, even though the animal had not attacked anyone.
The monkey is quite large and shows signs of aggression, so we have to avoid it, especially children and some tourists. Because in the past, this area had many people bitten by monkeys causing injuries," Ms. Hai Yen said.
Ms. Thanh Truc (a person living on Vi Ba street, Vung Tau ward) said that this monkey individual has many similarities with the monkey that attacked many people in the past. After a period of being pursued by functional agencies, this situation finally ended.
