On November 16, the Dong Nai Province Land Fund Development Center reported on the progress, plan and difficulties in the implementation of the compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance project to upgrade and expand DT 769 road (old Thong Nhat and Long Thanh districts).
The project has a total investment of about 3,096 billion VND from the provincial budget, the implementation period is from 2024 to 2026.
The project has a total land area of about 134.4 hectares. Of which, Dau Giay commune (old Thong Nhat district) is about 67.5 hectares; Binh An commune, Long Thanh commune (old Long Thanh district) is about 66.9 hectares.
The total number of households expected to be resettled is about 996 households. Of which, Dau Giay commune has about 517 households; Binh An commune and Long Thanh commune have about 479 households.
Where to plan to resettle: Dau Giay commune (formerly Hung Loc commune, old Thong Nhat district) plans to resettle eligible households and individuals in the 15-hectare resettlement area in Hung Loc commune with 681 plots of land;
Long Thanh commune, Binh An commune (formerly Loc An commune, Binh Son commune, Binh An commune, old Long Thanh district) plans to resettle households and individuals who are eligible to enter the resettlement areas: Long Phuoc, Long Duc, Long Duc expanded, Tan Hiep expanded.
Currently, the measuring unit is carrying out the work of measuring, checking, and making maps for land acquisition, and it is expected that before November 30, 2025, the work of measuring and extracting land acquisition drawings will be completed to carry out the next work.
The project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 769 is nearly 30km long; the starting point of the route intersects with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province; the end point intersects with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.
The project is divided into 4 sections, of which sections 1, 3, 4 are invested with a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles. The second section is invested in a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles.
This is a project implemented by Dong Nai province with the aim of increasing connectivity and shortening travel time from localities in the province and provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central regions in general to Long Thanh airport. Thereby, meeting the needs of transportation, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1, contributing to the socio-economic development of localities with routes passing through in particular, Dong Nai province and the key economic region in the South in general.
