On November 15, the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Nai province proposed that the Provincial People's Committee direct the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to promptly complete the procedures to approve the feasibility study report for the DT 773 road construction project to develop a map to reclaim land.
The project to compensate, support, resettle, and clear land to upgrade and expand DT 773 route (Long Thanh - Cam My - Xuan Loc) with a total investment of about 1,790 billion VND will be implemented from 2022 - 2027.
The project has a total recovered land area of more than 300 hectares with a total length of more than 39 km. Of which, Xuan Phu, Xuan Loc, Xuan Hoa communes are about 45.23 hectares; Xuan Duong, Cam My, Xuan Dong, Xuan Que communes (formerly Cam My district) are about 237.95 hectares; Xuan Duong commune (formerly Long Thanh district) is about 18.92 hectares.
The total number of households expected to be resettled is about 395 households.
Currently, the feasibility study report of the construction project is being considered and approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the plan, compensation, support, resettlement, and land handover will be organized to implement the project from May 2026 to January 2027.
The project to upgrade and expand DT 773 route has a total length of 39 km, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), ending point of the route to Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
The project to upgrade and expand DT 773 route helps connect and shorten travel time from communes in Dong Nai province as well as the provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central regions to Long Thanh airport.
Quadrangle connection of Bien Hoa - Long Thanh - Trang Bom - Nhon Trach industrial parks to meet traffic and transportation needs, reduce traffic volume for National Highway 1 contributes to the economic and social development of districts with the route in particular and the entire Dong Nai province, the key economic region in the South in general.
Currently, Dong Nai province is investing in expanding 3 projects including: DT 769 road, DT 770B and DT 773 with a total investment of more than VND 18,000 billion to connect Long Thanh airport.
