Accident between dump truck and motorbike in Ho Chi Minh City leaves one person dead

    HCMC - The accident between a dump truck and a motorbike at Dong Thanh intersection (old Hoc Mon), caused a woman to die on the spot. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.

    On July 16, a serious traffic accident occurred at Dong Thanh intersection (old Hoc Mon district), causing one woman to die on the spot and another to be injured.

    The incident occurred at around 7am the same day. At that time, a male driver was driving a dump truck worth over 20 tons on Dang Thuc Vinh Street, heading towards the Don intersection. When approaching Dong Thanh intersection (Dang Thuc Vinh - Bui Cong Trang - Le Van Khuong intersection), in Dong Thanh commune, the dump truck turned right onto Bui Cong Trung street.

    At the same time, a motorbike carrying two women traveling in the same direction collided with a dump truck. As a result, one woman unfortunately died on the spot, the other was injured.

    Immediately after the accident, the dump truck driver went to Dong Thanh Commune Police to report. Dong Thanh Commune Police and Traffic Police quickly arrived at the scene to block off the road and conduct an investigation to clarify the cause of the incident.
